DNOperations

Privacy Policy

Effective October 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DNOperations handles information associated with our website, cloud video encoding services, account requests, and customer communications. We are responsible for assessing requests and managing our own customer relationships. Please read this policy before providing information and contact us if you have questions about your choices.

1. Scope and responsibility

This policy covers information you provide through our registration, contact, text preference, and privacy preference pages, as well as information connected with your use of our services. It also explains the choices available to you concerning account communications and information about you. A separate written service agreement may provide additional details about a particular project.

DNOperations operates this website. Our business address is listed in the footer. We assess applications, discuss service requirements, and handle customer support directly. This policy does not replace the terms governing storage or playback tools you independently choose for your project.

2. Information you provide

When you register or contact us, you may provide your first and last name, email address, telephone number, preferred video output, and a message about your project. Preference requests may also include an existing account or request reference and the communication choices you want us to review. We use the information relevant to the request you make.

Please avoid including passwords, access keys, payment card details, government identification numbers, or sensitive personal information in a general website message. If a project requires additional information, we will explain what is needed and how to provide it. Only submit information you are entitled to provide, and keep your contact details accurate.

3. Website and service information

Information associated with a website visit can include the pages requested, browser and device type, approximate visit time, and technical information necessary to maintain the website. When service processing is active, relevant records can include job settings, source and output references, processing status, and support history. The information involved depends on the features you actually use.

We use technical information to understand errors, maintain reliable operation, and protect access to our systems. We do not need the contents of unrelated files or personal accounts to answer a general service question. Media supplied for processing should be limited to content you have authority to use and the outputs required for your project.

4. How we use information

We use information to assess applications, explain service options, respond to questions, manage account requests, and provide the video processing activities you select. We may use relevant account details to clarify an incomplete request, address a technical issue, or communicate about a change affecting your service. We handle these activities as part of our relationship with you.

We also use appropriate information to maintain records, protect the website from misuse, resolve disagreements, and meet obligations that apply to our business. We do not use the act of entering a phone number as permission to send promotional text messages. Optional text consent concerns only the specific request and account updates described below.

5. Text messages and mobile information

Text messages are optional and relate to a request you submitted or an existing account. The program includes receipt confirmations, application-status updates, account notices, and customer-service replies. Providing your phone number or accepting the website terms does not, by itself, enroll you in text updates. The separate SMS checkbox is unchecked by default.

I agree to receive automated text messages from DNOperations about the request I submitted and my account — receipt confirmations, application-status updates, account notices, and customer-service replies. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. Msg frequency varies, up to 5 msgs/month. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Opt out of receiving text messages at any time by sending STOP.

You can continue with an application or contact request without selecting SMS consent. Reply STOP to cancel text messages and HELP for assistance. You may also use our Opt-out page or Contact page to communicate a preference. Changing text preferences does not prevent you from asking for support through the website.

6. Disclosure and control

We do not sell personal information or provide your application to another business to handle on our behalf. We use information for our own service relationship, account administration, and support. If disclosure is required by applicable law, a valid legal process, or the protection of legal rights, we will consider the request and limit any disclosure to its relevant purpose.

Your chosen storage and delivery connections remain under your control. When you instruct us to place processed media at a destination you select, use a destination you are authorized to access. Those instructions relate to the requested media workflow and do not authorize selling or transferring your contact information or text consent.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

7. Retention and safeguards

We keep relevant information for the period needed to support the request, provide an active service, resolve support matters, or satisfy recordkeeping requirements. Different records may have different retention needs. A request to delete information can be subject to records we must retain for a valid operational or legal reason; we will explain relevant limits when responding.

We aim to restrict access to information to the purposes for which it is needed and use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information involved. No website, network, or method of electronic storage can eliminate every risk. Help protect your information by using accurate contact details, safeguarding credentials, and avoiding sensitive material in general messages.

8. Your privacy choices

You may request access to information associated with you, ask to correct inaccurate information, request deletion where appropriate, or tell us to limit communications. Use our Opt-out page, our Contact page, or write to our business address. Tell us which request or account is involved without supplying unnecessary sensitive details.

We may ask for enough information to verify that a request concerns you before disclosing or changing account information. Depending on your place of residence, additional rights may apply. We will review requests under the requirements applicable to our business and explain any relevant exception. Making a privacy request does not require joining the text program.

9. Children and intended audience

Our registration and text program are intended for adults aged 18 or older in the United States who can act for themselves or an organization they represent. The website is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, use the Contact page so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.

10. Changes and contact

We may revise this policy when our practices, services, or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Review this page periodically, particularly before submitting a new request. Material changes affecting an existing service relationship may require an additional notice through an appropriate communication channel.

For privacy questions, call (917) 563-6535, contact DNOperations through our Contact page or write to our business address listed in the footer. For text program information, review the SMS Terms. Please identify the subject of your question so we can address it directly.
